Prime Minister Shaikh Hasina termed recently resigned Information and Communication Technology minister Abul Hossain as a real patriot.
The PM made the comment while talking to journalists of Bangla newspapers on her arrival in London Wednesday night.
The premier also praised Abul saying that he resigned for the sake of his country.
Hasina informed journalists that her government had already spent Tk 1,500 crore for the construction of the Padma bridge project.
The construction work of the bridge will continue according to the plan whether the World Bank finances it or not, the prime minister added.
Hasina is now in London to join in the inaugural programme of London Olympic 2012.
